A Nextmv Cloud account is required for using Nextmv. You can sign up for a free account using Nextmv’s webapp, Console. Console has a user interface for performing various account actions like choosing and managing a plan, inviting others to your team, creating and managing API keys, and more.
Account owner
When you sign up for a Nextmv Cloud account you are provisioned a team. You are the owner of this team and it is tied directly to your account. You cannot leave your own team and can think of this team as your account.
If you are on a paid plan you can invite other Nextmv users to your team to collaborate (see plan limits). Premium accounts have the option to enable Single Sign-on (SSO) for their organization (i.e. any other Nextmv account that has the same domain email is required to authenticate via the company’s SSO provider).
API keys for your account are provisioned through teams. An API key is automatically generated for you in your team when you sign up. If you join another team, your API key will be different for that team. You can create up to three API keys for each team you’re a member of (including your own).
